About the Role
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth at Moshi Cooperative University. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and research in Records Management while contributing to the university's mission through mentoring, consultancy, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars, and practical training for undergraduate programmes
- Conduct and publish/disseminate research results
- Carry out library work and information services
- Mentor junior staff members
- Identify and support students experiencing academic difficulties
- Participate in consultancy and community service initiatives
- Supervise field practical sessions, undergraduate projects, and Masters and PhD dissertations/theses
- Attend workshops, conferences, and symposia
- Perform any other duties as assigned by relevant authorities
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree in Records Management, Records and Archives, or Records and Information Management with a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5.0
- Bachelor Degree in Records Management, Records and Archives, or Records and Information Management with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5.0
