About the Role

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) and capture clear, high-quality images
• Conduct ECG (electrocardiogram) recordings
• Set up, configure, and explain 24-hour heart monitoring systems (Holter and event monitors), then download and process results
• Assist with treadmill stress ECG testing
• Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort, and manage results with confidentiality and safety protocols
• Maintain equipment in excellent condition and adhere to quality and safety standards

Qualifications Required

Applicants must qualify through ONE of the following educational pathways:

Physiology Track

• B.Sc. in Physiology or closely related field
• Recognized training certification or qualification in Echocardiography (certificate must be provided)

Radiography Track

• B.Rad or B.Sc. in Radiography (or equivalent qualification)
• Ultrasound/echocardiography training

Essential Requirements

• Nigeria-based with ability to work in Abuja (Wuse and Utako locations)
• For Radiographers: Current practising licence from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN)
• For Physiology graduates: Proof of echocardiography training/certification from a recognized teaching hospital or accredited centre
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate, or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months
• Strong patient communication skills
• Basic computer and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) skills
• Willingness to work some Saturdays
