## Title: Cardiac Sonographer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality cardiac imaging and diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) and capture clear, high-quality images
Conduct ECG (electrocardiogram) recordings
Set up, configure, and explain 24-hour heart monitoring systems (Holter and event monitors), then download and process results
Assist with treadmill stress ECG testing
Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort, and manage results with confidentiality and safety protocols
Maintain equipment in excellent condition and adhere to quality and safety standards

Qualifications Required

Applicants must qualify through ONE of the following educational pathways:

Physiology Track

B.Sc. in Physiology or closely related field
Recognized training certification or qualification in Echocardiography (certificate must be provided)

Radiography Track

B.Rad or B.Sc. in Radiography (or equivalent qualification)
Ultrasound/echocardiography training

Essential Requirements

Nigeria-based with ability to work in Abuja (Wuse and Utako locations)
For Radiographers: Current practising licence from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN)
For Physiology graduates: Proof of echocardiography training/certification from a recognized teaching hospital or accredited centre
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate, or willingness to obtain certification within 3 months
Strong patient communication skills
Basic computer and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) skills
Willingness to work some Saturdays
