## Title: Front Desk Officer

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their team as a Front Desk Officer. This is a key position responsible for maintaining the organization's front desk operations and serving as the first point of contact for guests and callers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (pens, forms, paper, etc.)
  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner
  • Answer questions and address complaints promptly and courteously
  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them appropriately or take messages
  • Receive letters, packages, and deliveries, then distribute them accordingly
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence and securing parcels
  • Check, sort, and forward emails
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Keep updated records and files
  • Monitor office expenses and costs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (travel arrangements, scheduling, etc.)

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (additional qualifications will be a plus)
  • Proven experience as a front desk representative, agent, or in a relevant position
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g., fax, printer, etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word

Compensation

N80,000 per month
