Job description

The successful candidate will be a strategic recruitment professional with proven experience operating in complex, multi-country environments. You will partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to deliver efficient, inclusive, and high-quality recruitment processes while managing diverse stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business leaders across Central and Western Africa to understand workforce plans and recruitment priorities. - Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across multiple countries, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support. - Develop and execute sourcing strategies using multiple channels (direct sourcing, job boards, referrals, networking, and market mapping). - Build strong talent pipelines for critical roles across the region. - Provide market intelligence on talent availability, salary benchmarks, and hiring trends across relevant African markets. - Ensure recruitment practices comply with local labour laws and company policies across multiple jurisdictions. - Coordinate and manage complex stakeholder relationships across different countries, time zones, and business functions. - Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices. - Support employer branding initiatives across Central and Western Africa. - Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to HR and business leadership. Key Requirements - Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, preferably within multinational or regional organisations. - Demonstrated recruitment experience across multiple countries in Central and Western Africa. - Strong understanding of recruitment practices, labour markets, and hiring regulations across the region. - Experience working in a complex stakeholder environment with senior business leaders. - Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills. - Strong project management and organisational abilities. - High level of cultural awareness and ability to work across diverse teams. - Strong communication and influencing skills. - Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment analytics tools. - Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (CIPD certification is an advantage).
