## Title: Human Resources Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our expanding team at Bemil Nigeria Limited in Lagos. This is a strategic role where you will lead all aspects of human resources management, from recruitment and employee development to compliance and organizational culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
- Lead the HR team in designing, planning, and executing HR programs and initiatives
- Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
- Develop and oversee effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top talent
- Oversee the development of job descriptions and job specifications
Employee Relations and Development
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as needed
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention and engagement
- Implement performance appraisal systems and monitor performance reviews
- Develop and lead performance improvement plans as necessary
- Identify training needs, plan, and coordinate training programs
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development for all employees
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing coaching and feedback
- Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the department
Compensation and Benefits
- Administer compensation and benefits programs and recommend enhancements
- Ensure salary structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards
- Manage monthly payroll to ensure alignment with employment laws, accounting for attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism
Compliance and Policy
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed
- Keep company policies current with employment law changes and regulations
Workplace Culture
- Promote a positive workplace culture and oversee employee engagement programs
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction
