## Title: Human Resources Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our expanding team at Bemil Nigeria Limited in Lagos. This is a strategic role where you will lead all aspects of human resources management, from recruitment and employee development to compliance and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals
  • Lead the HR team in designing, planning, and executing HR programs and initiatives
  • Utilize HR analytics to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making
  • Prepare regular reports on HR metrics and trends for senior management

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the complete recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Develop and oversee effective recruitment and onboarding strategies to attract top talent
  • Oversee the development of job descriptions and job specifications

Employee Relations and Development

  • Provide guidance on employee relations issues and mediate conflicts as needed
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to improve retention and engagement
  • Implement performance appraisal systems and monitor performance reviews
  • Develop and lead performance improvement plans as necessary
  • Identify training needs, plan, and coordinate training programs
  • Encourage continuous learning and professional development for all employees
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team, providing coaching and feedback
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the department

Compensation and Benefits

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs and recommend enhancements
  • Ensure salary structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards
  • Manage monthly payroll to ensure alignment with employment laws, accounting for attendance, punctuality, and absenteeism

Compliance and Policy

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Keep company policies current with employment law changes and regulations

Workplace Culture

  • Promote a positive workplace culture and oversee employee engagement programs
  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee morale and satisfaction
