HR Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional. Position Overview: - The Entry-Level HR Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. - The role involves assisting with onboarding process, employee records management, staff welfare, and day-to-day HR operations within a mining and industrial work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in recruitment activities including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding. - Maintain and update employee files, records, and HR databases. - Support staff onboarding and orientation processes. - Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and basic payroll documentation. - Handle employee inquiries and escalate issues where necessary. - Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and company rules. - Assist in coordinating training programs, meetings, and staff activities. - Support employee welfare and disciplinary documentation processes. - Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times. - Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field. - 1–2 years of experience is an advantage. - Basic knowledge of HR practices and Nigerian labour laws. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. - High level of integrity and professionalism. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. - Willingness to work in a mining / site environment. - Female, Age 23-27 years olds.
