Dairy Development Extension Lead

About the Role

Holland Dairy P.L.C is seeking a hands-on and strategic Dairy Development Extension Lead to build and lead extension activities with farmers and cooperatives. This role focuses on strengthening raw milk supply through farmer engagement, quality improvements, and the development of long-term supplier relationships, contributing to a stronger and more sustainable dairy value chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of extension officers working directly with farmers and cooperatives
• Drive extension activities focused on improving raw milk quality and on-farm practices
• Recruit, onboard, and develop new farmers, cooperatives, and potential milk suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and local agriculture offices
• Set priorities and provide strategic direction for field activities, while remaining closely involved on the ground
• Monitor performance of the extension team and support capability building and coaching
• Identify opportunities to strengthen milk supply volumes and reliability across milk collection areas
