About the Role

We are expanding our dynamic team and seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join us in Addis Ababa. This role is central to our financial operations and requires someone with strong accounting expertise and attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Code and post transaction updates in the accounting system
• Prepare and ensure monthly tax declarations are submitted to Ethiopian Revenue Authority on time
• Collect and organize bank statements, loan statements, and bank debit and credit advices promptly
• Reconcile VAT input and output records with the General Ledger
• Assist External Auditors and Tax Auditors in the audit process
• File documents and worksheets properly for future reference
• Prepare salary payment summaries and maintain all related documentation
• Monitor Accounts Payable, Receivable, and Cash Flow activities
• Ensure all finance and accounting operations comply with applicable tax laws and regulations
