Main Accountabilities

Health, Safety and Environment

• Comply with safe, health and environmental procedures and legislation
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards
• Identify unsafe practices through Safety Issue Observations (SIO)
• Conduct safety inspections
• Audit safe maintenance practices
• Adhere to PPE policies
• Ensure maintenance tools are in good working order

Maintain and Repair Plant and Associated Devices

• Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation and systems
• Plan and prepare jobs
• Carry out repairs and maintenance
• Operate workshop equipment

Work in Teams

• Communicate effectively within teams
• Contribute to self and team development

Work Orders Completion

• Manage backlog effectively
• Generate tags for follow-on work
• Ensure customer satisfaction with no rework required

Additional Responsibilities and Technical Skills

Operational Support

• Provide specialist support to shift-based teams during operations
• Assist as functional expert in problem solving
• Provide guidance and advice to shift-based teams on mechanical matters as requested
