Human Resources Officer

About the Role

Onfon Microfinance is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support performance management and staff development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
• Handle employee relations and provide HR guidance to staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 2–3 years' proven experience in Human Resources

Required Skills

• Problem-solving and conflict resolution
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software (added advantage)
