Dereva Daraja II (Driver II)

About the Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Bariadi District Council as a Driver II (Dereva Daraja II). This is a full-time position based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles before and after journeys to determine vehicle safety condition
• Transport staff to various locations on work-related trips
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Complete and maintain records of all journeys in the vehicle logbook
• Collect and distribute various documents
• Clean and maintain the vehicle

Required Qualifications

• Form IV Certificate (High School)
• Driving License Class E or Class C
• At least one year of accident-free driving experience
• Certificates of training for relevant driving classes
• Basic Driving Course from VETA or a government-recognized institution
