Position Overview

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this Credit Manager/Officer role, working on a full-time basis in the Banking sector within Management, Accounting & Finance, and Business Operations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Banking, Economics, Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration and Management
Four years of working experience in a bank or financial institution
Minimum of three years' experience in branch operations, preferably in the credit department
Experience in processing and analyzing credit proposals
Experience in monitoring borrower accounts and recovery of irregular accounts
Experience handling trade finance business and canvassing credit business

Required Skills & Attributes

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency in computer software and Excel
Ability to convince and mobilize customers

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process loan proposals, including disbursement, LC opening, SBLC, and bank guarantee issuance
Analyze balance sheets to assess credit limits
Conduct physical inspection of loan securities
Complete documentation process before disbursing limits
Follow up with borrowers regarding regular loan account operations
Scrutinize inward and outward transactions in borrower accounts
Supervise vouchers in the credit department
Follow up on recovery of interest, loan installments, and overdue amounts in existing NPA accounts
