Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Akiba Commercial Bank PLC as a Direct Sales Agent. Drive retail banking sales by proactively promoting liabilities products through daily customer engagement, achieving sales targets, deepening client relationships, and delivering exceptional service in line with business objectives.

Position Details

• Location: Arusha, Tanzania
• Employment Type: Contractor
• Tenure: 6 months (renewable based on performance)
• Industry: Banking & Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets for retail banking liabilities products
• Proactively identify, approach, and engage potential customers
• Guide customers through the account opening process, ensuring strict compliance with company policy and requirements such as KYC (Know Your Customer) and anti-money laundering policies
• Represent the bank professionally and uphold the customer-first philosophy in all interactions

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Minimum of Form Four (O-Level) up to Diploma level
• Age: 18 years and above
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to work in a performance-driven and target-oriented environment
• Passionate about customer satisfaction and maintaining a high standard of professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of retail banking products
• Customer service experience
