Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and Barrick health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Report and investigate all incidents according to procedure and in a timely manner
• Participate in the Management of Change process and implementation of technical initiatives
• Ensure compliance with all rules, regulations, standards, and policies while executing tasks
• Ensure the Maintenance team and associated contractors have all necessary procedures, systems, work practices, and equipment to work safely

Core Functions

• Assess current and future project structures
• Evaluate contract management structures and processes
• Compile project execution plans detailing current and future requirements with proposed timelines
• Develop solutions to engineering problems that meet or exceed project requirements
• Manage contracts and project delivery
