About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Manager to join our expanding team at Johari Rotana in Dar es Salaam. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing all sales activities and maximizing business opportunities within your area of responsibility. You will execute comprehensive sales action plans while delivering extraordinary levels of customer service and creative solutions to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of your portfolio, serving all account levels including managerial and departmental executives for complete client servicing
- Achieve sales targets and maximize productivity across your assigned accounts
- Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed established targets
- Establish parameters, provide quotes, and negotiate prices with customers for transient and group business
- Generate and promote sales leads for Rotana within your respective areas
- Provide feedback on market conditions, including competitive trends, based on direct sales activities, telephone outreach, and direct mail campaigns
- Establish and maintain files of major accounts and assist management in maintaining the account management system
- Ensure adherence to selling strategies during negotiations and maximize upselling opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sales or related field
- Minimum two years of post-graduate work experience
- Experience within the hotel industry is strongly preferred
- Computer literacy
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities
