Mechanical Engineer (Heavy Machinery)

About the Company

We are a growing company specializing in the supply, servicing, and maintenance of excavators, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy machinery across Tanzania. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and tractors
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
• Inspect machines and prepare technical condition reports
• Support machine installation, commissioning, and testing
• Provide technical support to clients and field teams
• Maintain service records and spare parts usage
• Ensure safety and quality standards are followed

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience working with heavy machinery
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
• Willingness to travel within Tanzania
• Valid driving license (advantageous)
