The Bank operates six branches, with five located in Dar es Salaam and one in Arusha, serving over 2,100 agents countrywide.

Position Overview

In line with strengthening its corporate governance framework and enhancing strategic oversight, Maendeloo Bank PLC invites applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and reputable individuals to fill positions of Independent Non-Executive Directors.

The bank is currently seeking to recruit two reputable and dynamic Independent Non-Executive Board members, each with expertise and practical experience in banking. This role is crucial for effectively supporting the bank's growth ambitions.

The names of qualifying candidates will be forwarded to the Annual General Meeting for appointment.

Key Responsibilities

The new Board Members will be expected to add value and expertise to drive the continued growth of the Bank. Responsibilities will include:

• Determining the Bank's vision, mission, and values; continuously monitoring and evaluating its strategy; and ensuring sustainable growth
• Selecting, appointing, supporting, assessing, and monitoring Senior Management in the execution of policy, strategy, and operations by setting clear goals
• Selecting, appointing, and regularly reviewing and evaluating the performance of the Managing Director
