Cluster Director of Engineering

Position Overview

Join TUI Hotels & Resorts as Cluster Director of Engineering and oversee the Maintenance departments of Tui Blue Zanzibar and The Nora Zanzibar properties. In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all engineering, facilities, asset and project management functions.

This position ensures flawless operation of the physical environment, preservation of high-value assets, and delivery of exceptional guest experiences through proactive maintenance, refined aesthetics, sustainability leadership, and uncompromising safety and compliance standards.

Location & Employment Details

• Location: Zanzibar North, Tanzania
• Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent contract
• Supporting two TUI Hotel 5-star properties

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all properties consistently meet or exceed brand standards
• Oversee presentation quality in guest-facing and back-of-house areas
• Lead strategic planning for engineering and facilities operations
• Manage asset preservation and project delivery
• Maintain safety and compliance standards across all properties
• Drive sustainability initiatives
