Position Overview

An established company in the microfinance and financial services industry is recruiting an experienced Accountant for their Morogoro office.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations and financial policies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Assist in audits and provide data for management decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA-T) accreditation required
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, or corporate settings

Required Skills

• Proficient in accounting and finance software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
