## Title: Site Foreman – Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview

A well-known company is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to oversee construction projects in the Mbhashe Municipality, Eastern Cape. This is a project-based position offering competitive remuneration based on experience.

Location & Employment Details

Location: Mbhashe Municipality, Eastern Cape, South Africa
Employment Type: Project Based
Remuneration: R 15,000 – R 18,000 (experience related)

Requirements

Advanced Diploma or BTech in Quantity Surveying
Proven experience of at least three years in scheduling and planning of works within strict project timeframes
Experience in building projects and renovations
Must reside within Mbhashe Municipality
Professional registration with SACPCMP or SACOQS as a QS, Project Manager, or Construction Manager
Own vehicle (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with project schedules
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to meet deadlines
Monitor progress, quality, and safety standards on site
Prepare and maintain accurate site records and reports
Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and enforce strict timelines
Leadership qualities with a focus on teamwork and accountability
