Position Details

Job Title: Stores Officer
Grade: C3
Department: Supply Chain
Reports To: Stores Supervisor / Commercial Manager
Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Job Summary

The Stores Officer will be responsible for managing inventory operations, maintaining accurate store records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor store balances and inventory levels
Receive and issue items both physically and in the system
Create requisitions for inventory items within reorder quantities
Perform cycle counts of items
Coordinate intercompany transfers with other mines
Maintain housekeeping standards in the store
Ensure Stores Attendants comply with all company policies and procedures
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in stores or inventory management
Strong integrity and professionalism
Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office applications
Strong interpersonal relationship skills
Fluent communication skills in English
