Position Details

• Job Title: Stores Officer
• Grade: C3
• Department: Supply Chain
• Reports To: Stores Supervisor / Commercial Manager
• Location: Kigali, Rwanda

Job Summary

The Stores Officer will be responsible for managing inventory operations, maintaining accurate store records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor store balances and inventory levels
• Receive and issue items both physically and in the system
• Create requisitions for inventory items within reorder quantities
• Perform cycle counts of items
• Coordinate intercompany transfers with other mines
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the store
• Ensure Stores Attendants comply with all company policies and procedures
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in stores or inventory management
• Strong integrity and professionalism
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office applications
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills
• Fluent communication skills in English
