Still / Motion Graphics Designer / Video Editor

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to join our creative team. As a Still & Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor, you will play a key role in creating compelling visual content for our broadcast station and programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create still graphics and motion graphics for stations and programs
• Create visually stunning stings, montages, and animations for various programs
• Edit documentaries, news reports, and other video content
• Develop storyboards, sketches, and visual concepts to illustrate design ideas and present them for approval
• Create illustrations, designs, and other artwork used in marketing materials
• Collaborate with video editors, designers, reporters, and other team members to create cohesive visual narratives
• Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to conceptualise and execute motion and still graphic projects that effectively communicate brand messages and objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality output
• Utilise industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator to create high-quality motion graphics
• Maintain consistency and quality across all visual assets, ensuring they adhere to brand guidelines
• Optimise motion and still graphics across platforms and formats to ensure optimal performance and compatibility
• Stay up to date on industry trends and techniques, bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the team
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field
• Proven experience in creating compelling motion graphics, still graphics, and animations, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of design principles
• 3D animation experience (advantageous)
