About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in diagnostic imaging. You will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and supporting physicians in patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce clear and informative diagnostic images
• Review images to ensure quality and identify any abnormalities that may require further investigation
• Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations by explaining procedures, positioning them comfortably, and applying ultrasound gel
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting examination findings and technical parameters
• Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, providing preliminary exam results and observations
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include assisting with research projects or training new staff

Required Qualifications

• First Degree in Radiography
• PGD in Ultrasound
• 2–4 years of previous experience as a Sonographer
• Valid license to practice
