Job Summary
We are looking for a highly creative, football-obsessed Social Media Manager to lead content creation, publishing, engagement, and community growth across our sport-focused platforms. The ideal candidate must live and breathe football, understand global and local leagues (NPFL, EPL, La Liga, UEFA, CAF, Transfers, Stats), and be able to convert football moments into engaging digital content in real time.
You will manage content calendars, live updates, match-day coverage, reels, graphics, and fan-led conversations across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter (X), WhatsApp Channels, and YouTube.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
- Create high-quality football content including reels, graphics, captions, short videos, match previews, and reviews
- Plan and execute daily/weekly content calendars based on football fixtures, trending topics, and news cycles
- Convert live football moments into immediate social posts (clips, memes, score updates)
- Write emotionally engaging, fan-centric captions tailored to each platform
Live Updates & Match-Day Coverage
- Provide real-time coverage for key matches across NPFL, CAF tournaments, EPL, UCL, and other global leagues
- Share live commentary, match stats, halftime/full-time graphics, reaction posts, and breaking news
Engagement & Community Management
- Respond to comments, DMs, fan questions, and trending conversations
- Build a football-loving community that interacts daily with content
- Grow organic engagement by tapping into viral football culture
Strategy & Growth
- Work with internal teams to refine brand voice (credible + fan emotion)
- Conduct weekly performance reviews using analytics tools
- Suggest content ideas, trends, collaborations, and fan-driven campaigns
Creative Collaboration
- Work with designers, video editors, and writers to produce top-tier content
- Coordinate scripts and creative assets with cross-functional teams
