About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Physical Education teacher to join our secondary school team at American International School of Lagos.

Required Qualifications & Background

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience at a progressive and/or international school
• Current international qualification or certification in teaching
• Experience serving a school that functions as a community hub

Required Knowledge Base

• Child development: social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children
• Understanding by Design (UbD) and backwards design methodology
• Standards-based assessment and reporting
• High-impact research-based instructional strategies
• Classroom management and positive discipline
• Child protection and safeguarding practices
• Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
