## Title: Sales Officer - Furniture (Festac)

About the Role

As a Showroom Sales Officer, you will be responsible for selling the company's extensive range of furniture while achieving or exceeding sales targets. You will serve as a brand ambassador, driving brand awareness locally and promoting the furniture collection to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and drive sales, achieving daily, monthly, and quarterly targets
  • Generate orders and close sales by utilizing showroom stock, catalogues, and discussing various furniture items and fabric options with customers
  • Propose custom order alternatives such as suitable fabrics and hardware options to complement ready-made stock
  • Work collaboratively with sales and production teams to plan and execute seasonal furniture promotions
  • Maintain and update the accessories inventory database
  • Maintain display accessories in-store (e.g., ensure bedding is cleaned and steamed regularly)
  • Participate in creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on an annual basis
  • Manage the visual appearance of the showroom in accordance with merchandising standards, including seasonal floor plans and daily visual displays
  • Lead, direct, and delegate the flow of products from receiving to the sales floor
  • Liaise with sales and procurement managers to ensure stock availability and confirm all orders are fully paid prior to delivery
  • Maintain detailed checklists for all orders to minimize delays and errors
  • Pass retail leads generated through showroom visits to the sales team to ensure all sales opportunities are realized
  • Ensure the showroom, store room, and ancillary areas remain clean, tidy, and well-organized
  • Ensure all stock is correctly labeled and priced with accurate dimensions and fabric details
  • Keep catalogues, swatches, and samples readily available for customer reference
