## Title: Project Officer - Telecommunications

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to oversee telecommunications projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supervising project implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the implementation of telecommunications projects, including network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology deployments
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
  • Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, providing regular reports on progress, milestones, and key performance indicators
  • Participate in project planning and strategy sessions, contributing ideas and recommendations to improve project outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in telecommunications project management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including familiarity with network technologies, equipment, and service offerings
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute complex projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Required Competencies

  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate a team toward achieving project goals
  • Problem-solving: Skill in identifying and resolving issues that may arise during project execution
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changing project requirements and organizational needs
