## Title: Project Officer - Telecommunications
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to oversee telecommunications projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supervising project implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of telecommunications infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the implementation of telecommunications projects, including network expansion, infrastructure upgrades, and new technology deployments
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met on time and within budget
- Manage project timelines and budgets, tracking expenses and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address project risks, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, providing regular reports on progress, milestones, and key performance indicators
- Participate in project planning and strategy sessions, contributing ideas and recommendations to improve project outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in telecommunications project management
- Comprehensive knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including familiarity with network technologies, equipment, and service offerings
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute complex projects
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
