Project Engineering Manager - Telecoms at Royal Power and Energy Limited

About the Role

An established company is recruiting a Project Engineering Manager to oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple telecom and power system projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage multiple telecom and power system projects simultaneously
• Conduct comprehensive technical site surveys to assess project requirements, identify potential challenges, and suggest optimal solutions aligned with client needs and project specifications
• Lead installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom rectifiers, large UPS systems, LV electrical panels, and solar systems (on-grid/off-grid/hybrid)
• Coordinate site readiness, deployment activities, and acceptance with stakeholders and clients
• Prepare BOQs, project schedules, method statements, risk assessments, and quality plans
• Review and validate SLDs, load calculations, wiring diagrams, and energy management systems
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to project milestones and budget constraints
• Lead and manage a team of field service engineers tasked with site surveys and project implementation, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where needed
• Conduct project progress meetings, reporting, and documentation updates
• Travel extensively to various customer sites as required

Qualifications and Experience

• HND, B.Sc, or B.Tech in a relevant field
• 8–11 years of professional experience in project engineering, telecommunications, or power systems
