Procurement / Supply Chain Associate at TAG Energy Nigeria Limited

About the Role

TAG Energy Nigeria Limited seeks a dedicated Procurement & Supply Chain Associate to support supply chain operations and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret clients' supply chain requirements, plan courses of action, and negotiate contracts as needed
• Purchase materials, goods, and business services based on client specifications and requirements
• Research and negotiate with suppliers and commodities vendors
• Analyze and evaluate supplier bids, tenders, proposals, and quotations for review with the Supply Chain Manager
• Negotiate prices and delivery conditions with vendors
• Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and orders
• Monitor quality and timeliness of supplied materials and goods
• Track purchase order status with vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Communicate order status updates to clients

Required Qualifications

• First degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Social Sciences, or a numerical field from an accredited institution
• Minimum one year of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehousing
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a small team environment
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
