NYSC Intern-Content creator/Social Media Intern at Maurice Xandra Solutions

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate Content Creator and Social Media Intern to manage our social media presence, develop engaging content, and support our business events. You will be responsible for planning content calendars, creating and editing videos, and coordinating with speakers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and X
• Plan, schedule, and maintain the content calendar
• Write captions, session summaries, and speaker highlights
• Edit and produce short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, highlights)
• Communicate with speakers and partners to coordinate content
• Collaborate with the in-house graphics designer for visual content
• Assist with project coordination for conferences, sessions, and events
• Track content performance and recommend engagement improvement strategies

Required Qualifications

• Must be a serving NYSC member in Lagos
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
• Familiarity with social media trends and engagement strategies
• Professional demeanor when working with speakers, partners, and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Proximity to Lekki Phase 1
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
