About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining network performance, monitoring systems 24/7, and ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system administration tasks on all network elements
- Discover and identify problem areas that could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction
- Proactively monitor network and system performance
- Analyze traffic data and trends, escalating areas of concern to the network design authority
- Perform network surveillance 24/7 and respond to network-reported and customer-reported problems
- Take ownership to ensure all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage problem resolution using network monitoring and management tools
- Escalate unresolved problems to third-level support (Problem Management Team) as needed
- Monitor key suppliers' service levels and highlight where Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are not being met
Required Qualifications
- BSc or HND in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications
- Technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
- Strong knowledge of Cisco switch management
- Very good understanding of wireless communications technology

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make solid, fact-based decisions under pressure
- Capability to work well in an international, multi-cultural, and high-pressure technical environment
- Ability to work on a 24/7 shift rotation schedule
