About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join the Network Operations Centre (NOC) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining network performance, monitoring systems 24/7, and ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform system administration tasks on all network elements
• Discover and identify problem areas that could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction
• Proactively monitor network and system performance
• Analyze traffic data and trends, escalating areas of concern to the network design authority
• Perform network surveillance 24/7 and respond to network-reported and customer-reported problems
• Take ownership to ensure all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
• Manage problem resolution using network monitoring and management tools
• Escalate unresolved problems to third-level support (Problem Management Team) as needed
• Monitor key suppliers' service levels and highlight where Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are not being met

Required Qualifications

• BSc or HND in Computer Engineering or Telecommunications
• Technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
• Strong knowledge of Cisco switch management
• Very good understanding of wireless communications technology

• Ability to work on a 24/7 shift rotation schedule
