News Caster / News Editor

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. Core Obligation: Safeguard the credibility and integrity of the newsroom through accurate writing, strong editorial judgment, and professional on-air delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and structure clear, accurate, and timely news stories for broadcast

• Present news bulletins with clarity, authority, and professionalism

• Verify facts and enforce strict editorial accuracy before airtime

• Coordinate with reporters and newsroom staff to meet deadlines

• Maintain newsroom discipline and uphold content quality standards

• Convert breaking news into structured, broadcast-ready scripts under tight timelines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in News Writing, Writing, and Journalism

• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail

• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Journalism, Mass Communications, Broadcasting, or related fields
