Media Public Relations Officer

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join Kingrock International Nigeria Limited as a Media and Public Relations Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop media coverage strategies, coordinate media resources, and ensure accurate and timely information dissemination
• Draft press releases, official statements, and public opinion guidance materials to protect the company's legitimate rights and interests
• Contact media outlets (newspapers, television, online platforms), arrange interviews, filming, and reporting activities
• Monitor media coverage and social media public opinion in real time, analyze potential public relations risks, and provide response recommendations
• Participate in incident investigations and evidence collection, and assist in preparing external promotional materials
• Regularly report on communication effectiveness and optimize follow-up media strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above; candidates with majors in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, or Law will be given priority
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in media public relations, journalism, or industry publicity
• Familiarity with media operations and skilled in press release writing, media relationship management, and crisis public relations
• Ability to independently complete reporting planning
• No record of disciplinary violations, complaints from industry associations, or history of unethical or unprofessional conduct
