Media & Communications Officer at Learning Through Skills Acquisition Initiative - LETSAI

About the Role

LETSAI is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a talented Media & Communications Officer to join our mission. This role is central to our project that targets persons with disabilities, their family members, community structures, government agencies, Civil Society Organizations, and community members across Nigeria.

Project Focus

This initiative strengthens the capacity of Organizations of People with Disabilities (OPDs), Civil Society Organizations, Faith-Based Organizations, government stakeholders, and media platforms using a structured multi-sectorial and Community-Based Inclusive Development approach. The goal is to reinforce awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Produce engaging, inspiring content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
• Create graphics using Canva, Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Draft video scripts and edit/produce video content using CapCut, Descript, AfterEffects, and Premiere Rush
• Repurpose blogs, reports, and events into social-first assets
• Ensure all social content aligns with organizational guidelines
• Collect, organize, and apply feedback from multiple teams to refine content

Social Media Management

• Draft, schedule, and publish content across organization channels using native platforms and Brandwatch
• Maintain the global content calendar and streamline workflows using Asana, Zoho, and other tools
• Manage community engagement through thoughtful responses and proactive outreach
• Support paid social campaigns and content boosting initiatives

Data & Analytics

• Track performance across platforms using Brandwatch, Google Analytics, and native platform dashboards
• Work with the social media lead to provide insights on audience behavior and content trends
• Share best practices to drive growth, reach, and engagement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of relevant experience in media, communications, or social media management
