About the Role

An established company is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer position to join their team in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive components and systems using CAD software, creating and refining designs to meet specifications
• Build and test prototypes and final products to ensure they meet performance and safety standards
• Collaborate with other engineers and manufacturing teams to integrate components and solve production problems
• Analyze technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all designs comply with safety and environmental regulations
• Research and implement new technologies and design improvements to enhance vehicle performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee different stages of the manufacturing process, manage projects, and provide technical support

Requirements

• HND or NCE qualification
• 2–3 years of work experience in a related field

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and mechanical systems such as engines and transmissions
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Knowledge of safety, performance, and environmental standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Compensation

Monthly salary: ₦100,000 – ₦120,000
