About the Role

A dynamic team at The Startup Place Limited is expanding and seeking a talented Marketing Communications & Event Partnership Specialist. In this role, you'll leverage strong marketing expertise, excellent communication, and storytelling abilities to manage partnerships, secure event opportunities, and create engaging content that amplifies visibility across media, social platforms, and newsletters.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage partnerships with event organizers, brands, and stakeholders
• Identify and secure relevant event opportunities and collaborations
• Plan, coordinate, and attend events to ensure effective coverage
• Write event summaries, reports, and newsletter content
• Ensure events are featured in newspapers, blogs, and across social media
• Capture photo and video highlights (basic video recording and editing is a plus)
• Collaborate with the marketing team to boost visibility and brand awareness

Requirements

• 1–3 years' experience in marketing communications, event planning, or partnerships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong reporting and storytelling ability
• Proven social media and content creation skills
• Creative, organized approach with confidence in relationship building
• Proactive mindset in identifying and securing partnership or event opportunities

Additional Skills & Experience

• Newsletter management and basic video editing skills (bonus)
• Experience in the agriculture industry (strong advantage)
