Logistics Officer at Bell Oil & Gas

Overall Purpose of Job

Effective tracking and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with supply chain procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and revalidate inbound and outbound goods
• Dispatch validated goods from Lagos to Port Harcourt and client locations in a timely manner
• Process Form M and PAAR documentation
• Adhere to supply chain processes and procedures
• Prepare weekly logistics reports
• Liaise with freight forwarders and clearing agents
• Coordinate port operations in collaboration with clearing agents
• Update import delivery schedules
• Log vessel arrival dates and expected consignment clearing dates
• Ensure consignments (via air and sea) are cleared within agreed timeframes: 10 working days after vessel discharge for sea freight and 4 working days from NAHCO for air freight
• Complete goods validation forms (GVF) for all receipts
• Liaison with clearing agents, relevant government agencies, and clients
• Ensure invoicing processes are completed at client sites
• Communicate with relevant staff regarding stock management at other locations
• Prepare necessary delivery documents for each client site
• Oversee timely delivery of goods to clients in Lagos and Port Harcourt

Required Qualifications

• University degree
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, preferably in the maritime or oil and gas industries
