Junior Electrical Technician at Dogan's Sugar Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations during installation and maintenance activities
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components to restore functionality
• Conduct regular testing and calibration of electrical systems to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Utilize testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other specialized tools to verify proper functioning
• Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repair activities, including equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and procedures
• Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and relevant personnel to address complex electrical issues and optimize system performance
• Provide support to other departments in coordinating electrical work related to projects and upgrades
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries
• Execute emergency repair procedures and collaborate with relevant teams during critical situations
• Stay informed about advancements in electrical technology through continuous learning
• Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• At least 3 years of working experience as an Electrical Technician

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment
• Experience with the design and implementation of automated systems, particularly in manufacturing environments
• Strong ability in software testing and validation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and tools
