Role Summary

An IT/Social Media Officer manages the organization's information technology infrastructure while handling digital media, communications, and content management. You will ensure smooth IT operations, protect data integrity, and enhance the organization's online presence.

Information Technology Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems
• Ensure data security and perform regular backups
• Install, configure, and update IT equipment and software
• Provide technical support to staff and assist with IT-related issues
• Monitor system performance and optimize IT resources
• Maintain IT documentation and user manuals

Media & Communications Responsibilities

• Manage the organization's social media platforms and online presence
• Create, edit, and publish digital content, including images, videos, and graphics
• Assist with internal communications through newsletters, announcements, and updates
• Support marketing campaigns with media content creation
• Monitor and report on digital engagement metrics
• Ensure brand consistency across all media channels

Collaboration & Support

• Work with other departments to support IT and media needs
• Provide training to staff on IT tools and media best practices
• Stay updated on new technologies, digital trends, and cybersecurity threats

Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in IT, media, communications, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT and/or social media management
