## Title: Information Systems Support Engineer

Provide comprehensive support to end users on IT desktop and operational-related issues
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems efficiently
Respond to telephone calls, emails, and requests for technical support
Document, track, and monitor problems using ticketing and incident management systems to ensure timely resolution
Manage ticket requests and follow up with users to confirm resolution
Receive and work on escalated issues from desktop staff and management
Install and maintain Windows and Mac operating systems (OS)
Troubleshoot PC, laptop, and tablet hardware and software issues
Track inventory when receiving and shipping hardware onsite
Provide on-call support for vendor access requirements
Provide on-call support for issues that arise outside normal business hours

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
2–3 years of directly related work experience in a technical helpdesk position
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 7, 8, and 10
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools or open-source alternatives
Experience supporting business applications in a business environment

Strong application system skills, including productivity applications
Very good knowledge of IP networks
Proven knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, SMTP, SNMP, VPNs, and security methodologies
Thorough knowledge of voice and data communications techniques and technologies
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
Superior customer service and support experience
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong problem-solving and issue resolution capabilities
Ability to contribute to infrastructure improvements
