Position Overview
A Food & Beverage Supervisor oversees daily operations in the hotel's restaurants, bars, and banquets. They supervise staff, monitor service quality, and ensure guests receive excellent dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise waiters, bartenders, and support staff during shifts
- Assign tasks and ensure staff follow hotel standard operating procedures
- Provide guidance and training to team members
- Ensure high standards of guest service in all F&B outlets
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Monitor guest satisfaction and implement improvements
- Oversee table setup, service flow, and cleanliness of outlets
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth operations
- Monitor stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies
- Assist in ordering and receiving supplies
- Minimize wastage and report discrepancies
- Assist in the planning and execution of banquets, conferences, and events
- Coordinate service staff to ensure seamless guest experience
- Provide daily shift reports to the F&B Manager
- Communicate staff performance and operational issues
- Suggest improvements to enhance service quality
- Ensure hygiene and safety standards are maintained
- Monitor adherence to health regulations and standard operating procedures
Professional Experience
- Experience in a supervisory role in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Knowledge of F&B operations, banquets, and service standards
