## Title: Group Legal Counsel

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and advice to our organization. This position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert legal advice on various matters, ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
Ensure adherence to statutory and corporate governance practices
Assist in managing legal disputes and proceedings
Conduct legal research to support company decisions
Manage legal risks and represent the company in legal proceedings as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum LL.B degree and B.L (called to the Nigerian Bar)
7–10 years of post-qualification experience in reputable law firms, corporate legal departments, or healthcare/legal roles
Solid grounding in commercial law, contracts, corporate governance, and litigation management
Experience working in regulated environments and/or with regulators

Required Skills

Strong negotiation and drafting abilities
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Capacity to present complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
