Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on various matters, ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements
• Ensure adherence to statutory and corporate governance practices
• Assist in managing legal disputes and proceedings
• Conduct legal research to support company decisions
• Manage legal risks and represent the company in legal proceedings as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum LL.B degree and B.L (called to the Nigerian Bar)
• 7–10 years of post-qualification experience in reputable law firms, corporate legal departments, or healthcare/legal roles
• Solid grounding in commercial law, contracts, corporate governance, and litigation management
• Experience working in regulated environments and/or with regulators

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting abilities
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Capacity to present complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
