Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ELV Engineer with proven expertise in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across multiple ELV services including CCTV, access control, fire suppression, fire detection and alarm systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and other related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV surveillance, access control, fire detection and suppression, BMS, and other ELV services
- Perform site surveys, prepare technical documentation, and support system design and integration
- Supervise installation, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance of ELV systems
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Provide technical support, training, and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and as-built drawings
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an ELV Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong hands-on knowledge of ELV systems including CCTV, access control, fire detection and suppression, and BMS
- Familiarity with relevant international standards (NFPA, BS, EN, etc.) and local authority regulations
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Good understanding of networking protocols (IP addressing, TCP/IP) for integrated ELV solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
