Job Summary
The Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer is responsible for maintaining the organization's brand online presence and driving sales through various marketing campaigns aligned with company strategy. This role involves conducting research, strategizing with the team, creating compelling content, and managing social media accounts to increase visibility, awareness, and support for the organization's vision, corporate objectives, events, and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute social media strategy through comprehensive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages audience engagement and action
- Set up and optimize social media pages across platforms to increase visibility of company content
- Moderate all user-generated content in accordance with moderation policies
- Create editorials and monthly content calendars in advance, including syndication schedules
- Continuously analyze social data, metrics, insights, and best practices to improve performance
- Collaborate with F&B Coordinator, Executive Chef, and General Manager to manage reputation, identify key stakeholders, and coordinate actions
- Develop and implement social media guidelines, systems, procedures, and tools
- Provide expert reporting, analytics, and strategic advice to increase brand visibility and support organizational objectives
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor of Arts (Hons) or Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, Public Relations, or related field
- 3 – 5 years of proven work experience in social media management
